A refrigerator is the one appliance you can’t work around for a few days, which is why we treat cooling failures as a priority. Problems we fix

Not cooling, or cooling on one side only

Often a failed evaporator fan, a frosted-over evaporator coil, or a defrost system that has stopped cycling.

Runs constantly and never shuts off

Usually dirty condenser coils, a failing condenser fan, or a door seal letting warm air in.

Freezer freezes but the fridge stays warm

Typically an airflow or defrost problem rather than a refrigerant problem.

Water pooling inside or on the floor

A blocked defrost drain, a cracked drain pan or a leaking water line to the dispenser.

Clicking, buzzing or loud humming

A compressor start relay that's failing, or a fan blade hitting ice.

Temperature swings and frost on the food

Faulty thermistor, control board or damper.

Ice or frost building up at the back wall

Defrost heater, thermostat or timer failure.

Dispenser not producing water

Inlet valve, filter housing or a frozen supply line in the door.

How fast can you get out for a fridge that isn't cooling?

We prioritize no-cooling calls because food is at risk. Call 503-453-9630 and we'll give you the soonest window we have.

Do you need the model number?

It helps. It lets us bring the likely parts on the first visit. The model tag is usually inside the fresh food compartment on the left wall or under the crisper drawers.

Are you certified to handle refrigerant?

Yes. We're EPA certified, which is required for any work involving sealed-system refrigerant.

Is the diagnostic free?

It's free when the repair is completed with us.
